CS3 is really all we need. I used the CS4 trial, and after not even the month was over, I was tired and discusted with using it. I' glad you went back to good ol' CS3.

I'm thinking about getting. CS4 so this is something I will consider.
Though I'm planning to get a new iMac with it - so maybe that will help with the slow problem.

Do you know of any way to buy Flash 8 somewhere? Now I'm not feeling good about buying CS4.
Or would you recommend CS3 so I can update it? Or can you do that with Flash 8 as well?
I do think that getting Flash 8 is a better idea

it was slow and crashed at first but it doesn't any more and its fast, but i have a problem with audio, the audio doesn't stop until the audio is over, which is a problem with music videos.
i agree with the fulp i also still use 8
Um...I dont know about you but CS4 actually works better for me than CS3. On my Mac!

Ugh, yeah, CS4 loves crashing. The biggest problem is it's hard to tell what's going to make it crash, it always seems to happen at random. Of course, if I save frequently it tends to be less likely to crash, but it's still pretty annoying.
Of course, my biggest gripe with CS4 is they took out the ability to eyedrop anything on the screen. With older versions, I could use the eyedropper tool to grab a color from anywhere on the screen (even other open windows), it was a real time saver. Now it doesn't work, so I have to sit there and type in numbers if I want an exact color. Blaaaaah.
