Anime - Who the hell watches Anime?

Hey guys just giving a heads up - I have finished most of the work for Part 4 of Spider Powers. I have Hans and myself voicing the main characters - I am actually just waiting for a friend of mine to record her lines and then it should be done. So maybe some time this week :)

Also I've been busy with my next Flash Game - We have the basic idea and character controls set up for the player, just need to get the boss programmed to do whatever he is going to do lol. Right now I am creating the level designs. I've come to realize, actually I realized this a long time ago, I hate doing backgrounds. I have always just enjoyed creating the characters and screw a background. lol Oh well back to work.

Also I thought this would be fun - Give a list of some of your fav Anime Titles.

Here are mine in no particular order.

1. Ninja Scroll
2. Ghost in the Shell
3. Akira
4. Spirited Away
5. Castle in the Sky
6. Nausicaä
7. Vampire Hunter D

All of these titles are just awesome - I have more that I love, but for now list a few that you guys enjoy.

I like animes too. Japaneses can make drama stories, not in american cartoons. Animes are awesome.

I'll leave it at that. I find that as more time passes, I become more and more picky. I don't like a lot of the new popular styles, and used to be very against the integration of 3D into anime (until I saw it done right in Macross Zero and Macross Frontier)

Most anime is boring, weird or shit. Ghost in the Shell is all 3.

1. Sayonara zetsubou sensei - great satyric anime on modern emo culture with awesome and original design
2. Iblard Jikan - if you don't like drawing backgrounds, just check this out to realise how wild and awesome you can get with them
3. Paprika - pure beauty, great soundtrack
4. Lucky star - really funny, original humor not some romance comedy
5. Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood - intense story all the time

And everything else made by Gibli, because I am more easily moved to tears by beauty than by tragedy.

I don't think anyone's mentioned these yet, so:

Trigun, Gun X Sword, Hellsing (The OVA, not the Anime), Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (In my opinion, better than the movie), Samurai Champloo, and Karas.

I would also like to point out that there are some American cartoons that probably deserve more credit than a lot of you are giving them. Samurai Jack was awesome, and I would give anything to see Megas XLR come back.
